Admission

Our Prospective Student Day is tentatively scheduled for January 24, 2025, during which time applicants are invited to campus for an interview and for us to get to know each other.

Application Process

  • Applications will be open September 1, 2024 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • You will need the following items to complete an application:
    • High School Transcript
    • Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) from last year of high school
    • Copy of a Psychological Evaluation completed within the last 3 years
    • 3 letters of recommendation, not from a family member. A letter from a teacher community member and employer preferred.

Admissions Requirements

  • Desire and motivation to complete the IPSE program at Beautiful Berry College!
  • Diagnosis of an Intellectual Disability.
  • Age 18-26 in the year of admission.
  • Ability to sit through a class period (1.25 hours).
  • Approximately a 3rd grade reading level.
  • Have a cell phone and the ability to use it independently.
  • No significant behavioral or emotional problems that would impact school performance.
  • Transportation to and from Berry College during the Monday-Friday, and some weekend and evening events depending on individual goals.
  • Not under a full or plenary guardianship as ordered by a court of law.
  • A desire to gain meaningful employment.

Estimated Program Costs*

Tuition: $2,676 per semester, $5,353 per year
Berry Student Fees: $744 per year
IPSE Program Fee: $1,000 per semester, $2,000 per year
Required Meal Plan: $1,080 per semester, $2,160 per year
Total: $10,256 per year

Costs do not include books, materials or other course-required expenses. Parking permits are available for an additional fee. No on-campus house is available at the time.
