Students majoring in accounting, biochemistry, biology, business, chemistry, computer science, data analytics, economics, engineering (dual degree), finance, international business, management, marketing, mathematics, mathematics education, physics, pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-nursing, pre-pharmacy, or pre-veterinary will use the ALEKS Placement, Prep and Learning (ALEKS PPL) system to determine the best course to begin their math studies at Berry College.

Additional Information

The Placement Assessment is up to thirty questions covering material from basic mathematics through pre-calculus and generally takes sixty to ninety minutes to complete.  After the first placement assessment attempt, the individualized preparation and learning module is available for you to refresh your knowledge and learn new concepts.  After spending three hours in this Prep and Learning module and waiting 48 hours, you can then take an additional placement assessment.  You can take up to three total placement assessments.  Other information about ALEKS Placement, Prep and Learning can be found in the thorough set of FAQ’s below.
