Coordinator of Field Experience and Student Teaching
Kelly Wood joined Berry College as the Coordinator of Field Experience and Student Teaching in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Florida and has a wide range of teaching experience in Pre-K through high school. She spent the majority of her career teaching middle grades Agriscience in Florida, where she developed county-wide Agriscience curricula, mentored emerging educators, and led award-winning student organizations. Her innovative approaches to curriculum development and student engagement resulted in significant program growth and were recognized as model practices within her districts. In Georgia, she taught at the elementary level in Bartow County and the pre-k level at Berry College Child Development Center. She enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her plants and animals on her small farm.
